About the Program
The Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English is an undergraduate teacher education program aimed to produce highly competent English Language teachers equipped with content mastery, pedagogical strategies, research skills, and technological capabilities to facilitate successful learning in response to societal needs and calls for sustainable nation-building. BSEd-English students must design teaching-learning activities, instructional materials, and language programs to resolve learning difficulties and challenges. Graduates of the program are perceived to be committed to ethical standards and lifelong learning precepts and to possess agility and flexibility toward educational reforms.
