UM produces 9 new lawyers in the November 2019 bar examinations
The University of Mindanao - College of Legal Education (CLE) congratulates its roster of nine newly licensed lawyers as results for the November 2019 bar examinations were released today, April 29, 2020.
The UM-CLE also surpassed the national average passing rate of 27.36% for first time takers as its examinees were able to score 28.57%.
According to information released by the Supreme Court of the Philippines, only 2,103 out of 7,685 who took the examination passed, or 27. 36% out of a hundred percent. This led the court en banc of the 2019 Bar Examination committee to place the national average passing rate to 74%, as announced by Bar Examination 2019 chairperson Hon. Estela M. Perlas- Bernabe.
