UM for Academic Affairs is Instabright Excellence Awardee for Writing
The Global Excellence Award was garnered to UM SVP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ronnie V. Amorado for excellence in the field of writing for 2023.
The award is given to individuals who have shown outstanding work and excelled in their chosen field, and Dr. Amorado is recognized for his authorial works in the past 15 years, some of which won national and international book awards.
The Global Excellence Award is a national award given annually by the Instabright Publication, which is a chapter-member of the Instabright International Guild of Writers, Researchers, and Educators.
Instabright Awards are membership-based with open nominations by peers in the field. Evaluation and judgment are done in blind review by a panel of independent evaluators with declared qualification criteria appropriate to the specific award. National awardees qualify for the international Instabright awards.
In the field of writing, Dr. Amorado was nominated by publishers and was sponsored by the same upon qualification after a thorough review.
