UM ROTC cadet heads to Guam for international conference and training

The University of Mindanao is among the 20 invited representatives of the Philippines to the ROTC Cultural Understanding and Language Program Exchange in Guam, USA in the person of Cadet Col. Angelyc B. Juario, ROTC 1st Class. Juario is recognized by the university as the best third-year level student of the College of Criminal Justice Education taking ROTC to represent UM in the international gathering hosted by the Guam National Guard and the University of Guam (UOG) Army ROTC Program set on Nov. 18 -24, 2019. Along with other cadets from universities across the country and five Armed Forces of the Philippines ROTC officers, they can look forward to working side-by-side with cadets and officers of UOG and the Guam National Guard in planning and executing Field Training Exercises, as well as cultural exposure tours and other activities; according to the invitation letter from the Guam National Guard. Currently, their delegation is gathered at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon city for the necessary orientation and briefing before their departure for Guam on Nov. 17.
