SMP holds Anti Illegal Drugs Seminar for Barangay Lapu-Lapu, Agdao
Students under the Samahang Mag-aaral ng Pulitika (SMP) organization of the AB Political Science program under the College of Arts and Sciences Education reached out to Barangay Lapu-Lapu in Agdao District last Oct. 5 for a seminar on the dangers of illegal drugs.
With SMP's partners from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency to conduct the talk, several youth from the barangay as well as two barangay officials learned about how illegal drugs are produced and distributed, its toxicity to the body, as well as the effect it can have to society.
The seminar was also an opportunity for the barangay to renew their commitment to actively participate in the government's anti-illegal drugs campaign.
