The University of Mindanao–College of Hospitality Education (UM-CHE) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with OMNI Aviation, a leading school for aviation, hospitality, and tourism training and certifications, on November 18, 2025, at the UM Matina Campus.

Present during the event were the UM-CHE Dean, Dr. Dindo D. Silud, and Assistant Dean, Dr. Maria Rina T. Quilestino. Representing OMNI were its Vice President, Ms. Lilibeth Ramos-Mangulabhan; Marketing/Cabin Crew Training Head, Mr. Mikhail Siy-hian; and Corporate Systems Training Head, Ms. Jinkyu Dimacali. Faculty and staff of UM-CHE also attended to witness the signing.

The MOA emphasizes the partnership between UM and OMNI in offering the Aviation Profession Program (Practicum) and Micro-credentialing opportunities. These initiatives aim to strengthen the industry-based skills of UM’s BSTM and BSHM students, helping to prepare them better for future careers in the hospitality and tourism industry.
