College of Legal Education debate team trumps University of Batangas to advance to finals of ANC Square Off Debate Competition
The University of Mindanao's College of Legal Education Debate Team inch closer to the finals as they triumphed over the University of Batangas last Dec. 19 to advance in the ANC Square Off: The V and A Law Debates Season 18.
Dubbed team Spectrum, they successfully argued for the negative on the topic "Let it be resolved that anomalies in the expenditure for the 2019 SEA Games should be investigated," and Jeffrey Christian Josol is once again the Best Speaker for the competition.
Last October 25, aside from winning against the University of Cebu, Josol bagged the Best Speaker award.
Spectrum is composed of speakers Josol, Jefferson Nuneza, and Krisha Faye Ambol; with primary researchers Eula Maye Perturbos, Kristina Marie Clavero and Stella Lyn Amistad, and the collective efforts of all Spectrum members.
The team was accompanied by their coach, Atty. Joahna Paula Domingo.
