UM crowns its Mutya 2023
Jubilation was evident as supporters and onlookers cheered on their bets and enjoyed a night of glamor and elegance during the Mutya ng UM 2023 coronation night at the UM Matina gymnasium last Feb. 17, 2023.
A culmination event part of the series of activities for the Umyong Fest which seeks to bring students together in camaraderie and educational fun, the crown ultimately went to Jennica P. Linterna from the College of Teacher Education.
The well-deserved win was memorable as this is the first resumption of the Mutya pageant in the last three years since the height of the pandemic. While all the ladies displayed poise, exuded beauty, and entertained with their wit and intelligence, Jennica stood out for her delivery of her thoughts in a concise manner that caught the attention of the judges, and especially the crowd.
