UM soars in EduRank spots

UM's Excellence Shines in EduRank!
The University of Mindanao soars to new heights, clinching the top spot in Davao Region, ranking 2nd across Mindanao, and an impressive 19th nationwide, up by 6 notches from its previous position in 2023! But the achievements don't stop there – UM also shines on the global stage, standing tall at 2334 in Asia and 6242 in the worldwide ranking.
UM's improved ranking was due to its impressive performance in various field of disciplines: 14th in the Liberal Arts and Social Science, 17th in Mathematics, 8th in Psychology, 13th in Computer Science, 22nd in Business, 24th in Biology and 11th in Economics.
The research outputs of the faculty have contributed significantly in UM's ranking, with its 672 published scientific studies and accumulated 758 citations in the field of Social Sciences, Mathematics, Psychology, Computer Science, Political Science and Law.
EduRank is an independent metric-based ranking of 14,131 universities from 183 countries using research outputs, non-academic prominence, and alumni influence as indicators.
