CAE student off to Vietnam today for AIMS exchange program

An exciting chapter in their academic journey is in store for Ryan Federick Yap of the BS Accountancy program, who flies to Vietnam today under the Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) program.

Ryan will be representing the University of Mindanao as an exchange student at the prestigious National Economics University (NEU) in Hanoi — a top public research university known for excellence in Economics, Public Administration, and Business Administration.

AIMS is a government-funded initiative that promotes cross-cultural learning and regional collaboration among ASEAN member countries.

This milestone is extra special as Ryan is UM’s first student to participate in an academic exchange program in Vietnam, paving the way for future UM students to explore global opportunities. We are proud of Ryan's courage and determination to take on this international challenge, and we look forward to hearing about the insights and experiences he will bring back to our UM community.

Let’s all wish him the best as he embarks on this academic and cultural adventure!
