UMindanao Wildcats Show Exceptional Creativity at AAKRUTI Global 2025 Philippines, Earn Ticket to GEO Finale
The University of Mindanao Wildcats once again proved their ingenuity and technical excellence as they showcased exceptional creativity and innovation at the AAKRUTI Global 2025 – Philippines Edition, earning a coveted ticket to the GEO Finale, as one of the two teams who will represent the Philippines at the international stage.
Representing the Mechanical Engineering Program of the University of Mindanao, the Wildcats team is composed of James Liray, Rexene Cabillar, Maria Trisha Rubi, and Mikaella Alaba, under the mentorship of Engr. Julius Rosalia, Engr. Marcy Ogsoc, Engr. Jetron Adtoon, Engr. Jethro Joshua Ordas, and Engr. Delan Bacus. Competing under the SOLIDWORKS strand, the team impressed the judges with their cutting-edge designs and innovative engineering solutions that address real-world challenges through technology-driven approaches.
The AAKRUTI Global competition is a platform that brings together engineering students from around the world to develop creative solutions for industrial and societal issues through design and innovation.
