UM President and Chief Executive Officer receives the QS Star Award
The University of Mindanao (UM) has been recognized on the global stage, receiving the QS Star Awards during the QS Awards Ceremony held at the QS Asia Pacific Summit in Korea University. The award was personally accepted by UM President, Guillermo P. Torres.
This recognition follows UM's rigorous QS Star Assessment earlier this year, which resulted in a solid overall 3 Star rating.
The university demonstrated world-class excellence in specific areas, earning the highest possible 5-Star rating for its outstanding performance in:
1. Facilities
2. Governance
3. Social Impact
This achievement marks a banner year for UM with QS, as the institution also made its momentous debut in the QS global rankings.
