Milestones of Excellence in Criminology Education

Marked by a series of achievements, the College of Criminal Justice (CCJE) continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the leading criminology schools not only in Mindanao but in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, reflecting its commitment to excellence, quality education, and global competitiveness.

The college achieved a distinguished accomplishment, becoming the first criminology program in the Philippines to pass the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) Programme Assessment, thereby demonstrating adherence to international academic standards. It is also regarded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as a Center of Excellence, affirming its leadership in criminology instruction, research, and community engagement.

Further strengthening its status, the program has been granted Level IV, 1st Reaccredited Status by PACUCOA, the highest accreditation level awarded to academic programs with exemplary outcomes in instruction, research, extension, and institutional linkages.

Notably, the college has also produced topnotchers in the Criminologists Licensure Examination (CLE), resulting in CCJE being recognized as a Top-Performing Criminology School in both the July 2024, February 2025, and August 2025 CLEs, marking consistent excellence in national licensure outcomes.

These milestones emphasized the CCJE’s unwavering commitment to producing competent, ethical, and globally competitive criminology professionals. It continues to raise the standards of criminology education in the country, establishing itself as a premier institution dedicated to excellence, leadership, and transformative education.
