The College of Hospitality Education Welcomes Back BSHM Interns from SIAP-Japan (December 2025 – April 2026)
The College of Hospitality Education proudly welcomes home its BSHM intern students who successfully completed their international internship under the SIAP-Japan program from December 2025 to April 2026: Quenny Valerie Mae M. Masumbid, Edgar John S. Oferio, Ira Pioneta, Jan Alexandrouva Nina L. Calamba, Ydzaille Clear Costales, and Rhea Mae Cadayona. This milestone reflects the college’s strong commitment to developing globally competitive hospitality professionals.
Through their international exposure, the interns broadened their perspectives and gained hands-on industry experience in a global setting. The program strengthened their confidence to pursue careers abroad, anchored in camaraderie, passion, and professionalism. The program helps them enhance their decision-making, teamwork, and leadership skills, while also developing their capacity to supervise and collaborate effectively.
The interns’ international experience exemplified the University of Mindanao’s core values: excellence, integrity, teamwork, and professionalism. Evident in their dedication, effective collaboration with diverse teams, and commitment to maintaining high standards in a global work environment.
