UM NLE examinee is in Top 2 examinees nationwide; overall takers soar above national passing rate



The University of Mindanao has a top placing examinee in the recent Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE) in the person of Moises Alan J. Mahinay.

With a score of 91.20, Mr. Mahinay is in the Top 2 of the highest scoring examinees across the country.

The performance of our BS Nursing grads in the February 2026 RNLE resulted as well in overall passing percentage that far exceeded the national average of 44.24%; with 92.00% for first-time takers, and 92.00% overall (first time takers and repeat takers of the NLE).

According to data from the Professional Regulation Commission, a total of 3,611 examinees passed the NLE out of the more than 8,000 who registered.

The NLE is given by the PRC-Board of Nursing in testing centers all over the Philippines.
