UMians come out on top in February 2026 Criminologist Licensure Exam
Three UMians are counted among the top examinees in the February 2026 Criminologist Licensure Examination, earning for the University of Mindanao a 93.97% overall passing rate, and recognition as the Top 4 performing university in the Philippines for the said exam.
In the Top 9 is Christelle Jane Evarolo (91.90%) of UM Bansalan, while Elruegenn Albiso (91.85%) of UM Tagum and Guil Shaira Lomanta (91.85%) from UM Main share the 10th spot.
Their achievement, and that of the other passers of the exam resulted in the university having a 96.40% passing rate for first time takers, and 93.97% for overall versus the 66.00% of the national average passing rate.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission, a total of 30,320 pass the Criminologist licensure exam out of the nearly 46,000 who registered.
