About the Program

The Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPh) is an outcome-based degree program that strategically blends general education with specialized professional courses in pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutics, and life sciences. Designed to produce versatile graduates capable of portraying roles as professional pharmacists, pharmaceutical care providers, researchers, managers, entrepreneurs, and educators, the curriculum culminates in a highly practice-centered final year featuring an extensive, supervised internship across diverse CHED-accredited establishments. Throughout their training, students develop core health-related competencies, such as handling the health problems of individuals and communities, utilizing higher-order problem-solving skills, and collaborating effectively within multi-professional teams. Concurrently, they master highly specific pharmacy outcomes, which include adhering to legal and ethical standards, developing optimized drug therapy plans, conducting scientific research, and applying precise techniques in the compounding, manufacturing, distribution, and safe disposal of pharmaceutical and biological products.
