UM wins awards anew at PACUCOA General Assembly and Awarding Ceremonies

UM wins a total of 14 awards and citations in the recently concluded 41st General Assembly and Awarding Ceremony of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA), announced via video conferencing. For the Major Awards, UM garnered the following: 1. University with the 2nd Highest number of accredited programs in the country. 2. Institution with the highest number of accredited programs in Region XI. First School in the Region to have Level IV accreditation in: 3) Information technology, 4) Computer science, 5) Criminology 6) Accountancy 7) Civil Engineering 8) Mechanical engineering 9) Master of arts in education 10) Master in Business Administration 11) First Computer Engineering program granted Level III Reaccredited Status in Region XI 12) First Hotel and Restaurant Management program granted Level III Reaccredited Status in Region XI UM also placed third in the Best Case Study competition, and is also recognized by the PACUCOA with a Special Citation for hosting the country's first PACUCOA Remote Virtual Accreditation last July 2020.
