UM makes 2026 debut in QS Asia Rankings
From earning a prestigious 3-Star QS Rating earlier this year, the University of Mindanao achieves another remarkable milestone as it debuts in the QS Asia University Rankings 2026, placing within the 1301–1400 bracket in Asia and 203rd in Southeast Asia.
UM proudly stands as the only HEI in the Davao Region to be recognized with both the QS Stars Rating and inclusion in the QS Asia University Rankings—a testament to its academic excellence, global competitiveness, and transformative education.
Among 253 universities in Asia and 35 from the Philippines, UM continues to shine as a leading university in Mindanao, representing the region’s growing prominence in international higher education.
The QS Asia University Rankings, organized by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), is among the world’s most respected university ranking systems, evaluating institutions based on academic reputation, research impact, and international performance.
This debut marks a historic moment for the UM community—proving once again that Mindanaoan excellence stands strong on the global stage.
