The Institute of Biodiversity and Environment (IBE), together with the Environmental Science Department (ESD) and the Coleoptera Research Center (CRC), successfully hosted the Kadaiyahan: Environment and Biodiversity Research Forum on April 29, 2026, at Cagliari Hall. The event convened students, faculty-researchers, and environmental advocates in a dynamic platform for presenting and discussing research focused on pressing ecological and biodiversity issues. Led by Institute Director Dr. Charlyn Gorgonio, the initiative underscored a strong institutional commitment to fostering a culture of research and environmental stewardship.
The forum featured a diverse array of student and researcher presentations covering topics such as ecosystem conservation sustainable resource management, and biodiversity documentation, including entomological studies highlighted by the Coleoptera Research Center.
Participants engaged in meaningful academic exchange, benefiting from insights and constructive feedback from panelists and fellow researchers. The activity not only showcased emerging scholarly work but also strengthened interdisciplinary collaboration among participating units.
