The UM PASS: Essential student services in one system

Operating on continuous quality improvement, the University of Mindanao recently launched UM PASS: Portal for Academic and Student Services, a centralized platform for UM students to access essential services from the OSA, SSO, and the GSTC, among others.

Through the Office of Student Affairs, students can process their Student Clearance, Good Moral Certificate (GMC), ID Replacement, Posting Requests, Activity Proposals, Student Organization Accreditation, and access services from the Guidance Services and Testing Center (GSTC). The portal also supports services from the Security Office, including Lost and Found and Vehicle Sticker applications, making important campus transactions more accessible in one place.

Beyond student service requests, UM-PASS also provides access to academic and feedback-related features such as Course Assessment, Surveys, Evaluations, UM Here, and Enrolled Courses. By bringing these services together in a single online portal, UM-PASS aims to simplify student transactions, improve access to university services, and provide a more convenient and efficient digital experience for the UM community.

Training on the navigation of UM PASS was provided to the staff of the Office of Student Affairs, the student organization presidents, and officers of the College Student Government by the Management Information System personnel under the Quality Management Office today, Sept. 1, 2026 at the IPAC Conference Room in order to aid in the dissemination of its use.
