Better known as the OSA, its responsibilities include disseminating and enforcing the Student Code of Conduct to ensure a harmonious campus environment that is conducive for learning and holistic growth. Headed by Marianne P. Afrondoza, the OSA is also in charge of approving the activities of the various student-led organizations per program, as well as monitoring these activities through annual reports from organization officers.

College of Health and Sciences Education

The members of ApothecariUM aim to establish a just and benevolent organization, encourage and enhance a common welfare, and foster unity among the University of Mindanao - Pharmacy students through justice and equality, in collective efforts. This organization fosters lifelong shared interests, enrich student engagement and academic enhancement, and establish and strengthen camaraderie among its members and other students of the University.

College of Accounting Education

The Association of Academic Awardees serves as a vital network and resource for individuals who have achieved academic recognition. By fostering a community, providing support, and advocating for social and environmental sustainability, the association plays a significant role in enhancing the academic and professional journey of its members.

The ASSOCIATION OF FUTURE LIBRARIANS is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to unite, support, and foster students of the Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) program in their endeavor to become professionals in the field of librarianship.

In the spirit of culinary excellence and shared ambitions, this organization - the Association of Future Pastry Chefs - is founded on the principles of fostering talent, encouraging innovation, and promoting expertise in the art of pastry making. College of Teacher Education

This organization, known as “The Association of Generalist Teachers” also referred to its acronym as AGENT, is under the College of Teacher Education Department, representing the BEED, BECED, and BSNED programs. AGENT aims to foster a sense of moral values and camaraderie among the members of the organization, cater to the needs and interests of every member of the society; and develop responsible student leaders and dynamic and competent educators.

College of Business Administration Education

The Association of Young Entrepreneurs (AYE) is to stimulate interest in entrepreneurship among its members and encourage them to be passionate about building sustainable ventures. It also strives to provide its members with lifelong learning and a support platform to minimize risks and to maximize success in their business ventures.

Civic Student Organization

The Bookworm Society is dedicated to cultivating a love for books and reading within the academic community. It promotes literacy through outreach initiatives and aims to expand literary exposure for all ages, especially those with limited access to reading materials. The organization fosters a deeper appreciation for books, enhances academic performance, and instills positive values through the joy of reading and the use of library resources.

College of Business Administration Education

The University of Mindanao – Business Economics Student of Today also known as UM BEST unites the Business Administration students majoring in Business Economics helping the students with their problems in the true spirit of brotherhood, promotes the study and raising the standards through improving and developing their knowledge in the field of Business Economics through research, discussion, and seminars on suitable subjects.

The organization, known as the Campus Connect, shall carry out projects/programs/training/activities that will aid the students in achieving spiritual awareness and moral recovery.

The association shall be officially known as the Chemical Engineering Students’ Association also known as ChESA. The members of Chemical Engineering Students’ Association, in order to promote academic excellence, develop interest dedicated to the ideals of responsible and innovative advancement of Chemical Engineering, as well as to promote unity, professional proficiency, and camaraderie.

The CAE Bookkeepers Association of the University of Mindanao, believing in the need for a better-organized association, implement and maintain its goals and aspirations to help develop the bookkeeping skills of the accountancy students of the University; offer effective and efficient bookkeeping services to the college, and embody the ideals of camaraderie, accountability, transparency, and hard work as fundamental pillars in attaining progress of this organization.

College of Computing Education

The Data Owls of the University of Mindanao shall also be referred to “DOUM” (/dōm/) aims to promote the understanding and application of data science, foster a collaborative and inclusive community, and inspire innovation and excellence in the field, do hereby establish this constitution. Recognizing the transformative power of data in today's world, we are dedicated to guiding and empowering students in the realms of data analysis, statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The organization shall be known as the Empowered Language and Literature Teachers Society or briefly as ELLiTeS. This organization aims to carry out projects, programs, activities, and advocacies that will aid the students in achieving English proficiency, specifically in grammar, communication, and literature, and unlock students’ potentials that will strengthen their abilities and skills in the field of English. The main purpose of the organization is to advocate and strengthen students’ English proficiency and encourage moral uprightness through implementing and actualizing the organization’s annual plans thereby helping them in their soon-to-be professions.

ENIGMA aspires to be a community of exceptional individuals equipped with the skills, knowledge, and mindset to excel in their respective fields of expertise, pioneering a path toward a future where technology is harnessed to make a profound and purposeful impact, driving progress forward. ENIGMA, came from the German made cipher machine, which encrypts and decrypts secret messages, empowers its members with the skills, knowledge, and mindset to drive technological advancements fostering a culture of collaboration, ethical responsibility, and lifelong learning,

The Eventologist of University of Mindanao (EventUM) establishs an organization that shall embody our ideals and aspirations, in our desire to be united in representing the hospitality student sector of the Philippines in Mindanao, and to develop and encourage mutual respect, promote the common good, conserve and develop our patrimony. It is committed to provide its members with the opportunity to learn from travelling and experienced professionals, develop their skills, and network with potential employers. The organization is also committed to promoting the MICE industry and its importance to the Philippine economy.

Civic Student Organization

The FIRE AUXILIARY CORPS -UM CHAPTER (FACUM) is a youth-led organization at the University of Mindanao dedicated to fire safety, emergency response, and community service. It trains members in fire prevention, rescue operations, and disaster preparedness, equipping them with the skills to protect lives and property. FACUM also supports national fire protection efforts, promoting a culture of safety and humanitarian service within and beyond the university.

The Flairtenders Club aims to cultivate a community of skilled mixologists and cocktail enthusiasts committed to the art of bartending. This organization promotes excellence through continuous education and training, fosters a supportive environment where members can share knowledge and experiences. Emphasizing creativity and innovation, we encourage originality in mixology while organizing educational workshops, seminars, and community-building activities. By forging partnerships and promoting responsible bartending practices, we aim to elevate standards within the industry and empower our members to thrive professionally and creatively.

Generation of Excellent Marketers (GEMS) of University of Mindanao is an official organization for all Marketing Students of College of Business Administration to promote welfare of the Marketing Students for the academic excellence by providing training and seminars; to enhance the capacity of the members by giving different activities especially academic competition inside and outside of the University. Generation of Excellent Marketers is the key to develop sense of camaraderie of all Marketing Students under College of Business Administration Education, University of Mindanao.

Civic Student Organization

The Humanitarian Advocates of University of Mindanao - College Red Cross Youth Council, also known as HAUM-CRCYC, aims to empower humanitarian and quality life-saving services that promote, serve, and develop committed and compassionate volunteers and leaders for the UM community. HAUM-CRCYC adheres to the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent movement – HINIVUU – Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, and Universality in decisions and acts of the organization shall prioritize the alleviation of human suffering in coordination with the authorized school personnel and with UM’s disaster response team.

College of Teacher Education

The organization shall be known as the ILUSSTRADO - a term adopted and elected from the era of Hispanic settlement in the country but reflects the women and men of Social Studies major of the University of Mindanao in the context of 21st century education. ILUSSTRADO is inclined for the growth of Social Studies Students in The University of Mindanao; helping to equip students with the knowledge, experience, and shaping their morality to become an effective public servant in the community and in the country.

College of Engineering Education

The Computer Engineering students at the University of Mindanao also known as ICpEP.SE establishes an organization that shall foster unity, friendship, and good service among the Computer Engineering students. ICpEP.SE promotes the interest and protect the rights of the students, foster closer ties and fellowship and provide mutual help among members, collaborate with other engineering students in initiatives undertaken by the program, and participate in all activities sponsored by I.T. related organizations

College of Computing Education

The Junior Blockchain Education Consortium of the Philippines - University of Mindanao Davao (JBECP – UM Davao) is an academic organization under the College of Computing Education (CCE) and is open to all college students of the University of Mindanao Davao. JBECP – UM Davao provides comprehensive blockchain education and resources to all students, empowering students' knowledge for both technical and non-technical aspects of blockchain through 3E’s (Education, Events, and Experience).

Civic Student Organization

The Junior Drug Buster, or by its acronym JDB, adheres to the principles of dedication through service and direct involvement recognizing the drug problem as a national, societal, economic, environmental, cultural, and political difficulty. The Junior Drug Buster thus aims to mobilize the youths as active workers for the drug prevention and control, symposium for drug education and actively collaborating with external agencies, such as Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) or Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

The Junior Finance Executive (JFINEX) of the College of Business Administration, University of Mindanao, Davao City, also known as JFINEX believes that education is the first priority and shall be afford to everyone. The JFINEX uplifts and strengthen the knowledge of the members in the field of finance, initiate educational reforms among its members, defend the rights, promote the general welfare and the ideals of the organization thereby realizing the development of the human resources in terms of social, cultural, physical, spiritual, and educational development to ensure well rounded intellectuals among its members.

The Junior People Management Association of the Philippines, University of Mindanao Chapter also known as the “JPMAP-UM” serves as a center for cooperation, collaboration and exchange of information among young college students and graduates on matters relating to Human Resource Management in the University thereby assisting in the development of a nucleus of truly professional HRM practitioners. JPMAP-UM prepares its members in developing and attaining professional competence as they enter the business world through their acquaintance with the prospect and future in human resource management; develop a strong and effective linkage between the academe and the business world; fostering the highest standard of personal integrity by adhering to the code of ethics of JPMAP among its members building of a humane world where everyone has equal opportunities to improve his/her quality of life.

The Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants – University of Mindanao Chapter establishes an organization to serve as a medium of expression of ideas and aspirations, thereby developing and producing well-rounded, energetic, and responsible students; provide venues for intellectual and social growth; and strengthen the dynamic and harmonious relationship among the Accountancy students promoting the spirit of lasting unity among its members.

The League of Aspiring Medical Technologists also knows as the LAMTech is student organization manned and operated by the students of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology / Medical Laboratory Science of the University of Mindanao. This organization is geared to help the students gain teamwork and develop democratic responsibilities, believing the need for a better organized students, for the integral and holistic development of our department. As Medical Technology Students, we shall exemplify the role of a committed and dedicated student, with continuous effective and harmonious communication with our mentors, faculty, and administration of the University.

College of Arts and Sciences Education

LEAF (League of Environmental Science, Agroforestry, and Forestry Students) is the official student organization of the Environmental Studies Department at the College of Arts and Sciences Education, University of Mindanao. LEAF aims to strengthen camaraderie among students while nurturing creativity, enhancing skills, and promoting environmental awareness through seminars, workshops, tours, community outreach, and other related activities.

College of Business Administration Education

The name of this organization shall be known as League of Legal Management Students, referred to as the LEXIUM, which comes from the combined words of Lex and UM, wherein the first part which is the Latin word Lex that means, “The Law,” and the second half of the name pertains to the acronym of The University of Mindanao. LEXIUM represents every Legal Management student and gives them the opportunity to interact with other students within and across different courses in the university, broadens their horizon and interests while expanding their service to the community, maintains the standards and competitiveness of Legal Management Program, allows members to develop personal virtues and lifelong skills which is applicable in the business and in the field of law.

College of Hospitality Education

The name of this organization is Les Toques Beyond Perfection Culinary Club. The organization aims to foster a community of culinary enthusiasts, promote culinary education, and celebrate the art of cooking through shared experiences, events, and workshops.

Having realized that the pursuance of our objective through concerted efforts, we acknowledging the vital role of the Media Education for Intelligent Awareness as a tool for the educational, socio-cultural, moral and spiritual transformation.

This organization shall be known as Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA). This organization promotes the global movement of sustainable development goals in tourism on a grassroot level and aspire to be a dynamic community of young professionals dedicated to fostering sustainable, responsible, and inclusive tourism practices across the Asia Pacific region.

College of Health and Sciences Education

The name of the organization is Philippine Association of Nutrition – University of Mindanao Chapter, also known as PAN-UM. PAN-UM aims to unite the students enrolled in BS Nutrition and Dietetics program of the University of Mindanao as well as those who are interested in collaborating and supporting efforts directed towards the attainment of proper nutrition for healthy and productive Filipinos. This organization promotes nutrition consciousness among the students and the majority through the conduct of activities relative to health and nutrition education; uphold character and personal growth of its members; and initiate the conduct of researches and projects that aims to identify in any available means the nutritional problems of the student and the community.

College of Architecture and Fine Arts Education

The University of Mindanao College of Architecture and Fine Arts Education believes in the need for a better-organized student organization and in the development of students in terms of their skills and capabilities. PIASA shall advance, implement, and maintain our goals and aspirations, embody the ideals and principles of freedom, equality, justice, and democracy, and promote the welfare of its members, and the academic standards of our Alma Mater.

College of Health and Sciences Education

The Philippines Nursing Students’ Association – University of Mindanao Chapter, also known as PNSA-UM Chapter is a school-based, pro-student and pro-people student organization that aims to development socially responsible nursing students working for meaningful social change. This organization shall serve an instrument through which communication, interaction, and cooperation among socially aware nursing students as well as other sectors of society shall be facilitated.

College of Arts and Sciences Education

The general objective of the organization is to establish a peer group that responds to the call of excellence in academics and uplifts fellow students, motivating them to succeed in Political Science courses.

Cultural Student Organization

The Programs, Advocacies, and Governance for the Lumad Association in the University of Mindanao, composed of IP students from different tribal communities of Mindanao, also referred to as the PAGLAUM aims to initiate programs and advocacies that will provide academic, cultural, social, psychological, emotional and moral/spiritual growth, and guides the UM Lumad students, appreciate and nurture tribal culture, traditions and laws for them to exist with authenticity and become creative and dynamic Indigenous People of University of Mindanao.

The Real Estate Management Students Society or REMSS creates an open environment for Real Estate Management students to engage them in interpersonal and personal growth.

Sa ngalan ng aming organisasyon, Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Filipino (SAMAFIL) sa Unibersidad ng Mindanao, kami ay naglalayon na itaguyod at palaganapin ang pagmamahal at pag-unawa sa wika at kultura ng mga Pilipino. Bilang mga mag-aaral, naniniwala kami na mahalagang panatilihin ang ating kinamulatan at makipag-ugnayan sa ating mga tradisyon at identidad. Sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaroon ng isang malakas at maaasahang organisasyon, layon naming magsilbing boses ng mga estudyante upang ipahayag ang kanilang mga ideya at hinaing. Mahigpit naming tatalima sa layunin ng pamantasan na magbigay ng dekalidad na edukasyon at higit pang pagkakataon para sa lahat ng mga mag-aaral. Sama-sama, handa kaming makiisa sa iba pang sektor ng lipunan sa pagtataguyod ng pagbabago at pag-unlad para sa kinabukasan ng mga mag-aaral. Sa pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan, nais naming maging huwaran ng pagkamalikhain, pagiging matalino, at pagiging mapanagutang mga mag-aaral. The organization shall be composed of Political Science students. Authorities of its officers emanate from the members. SMP rganization is a non-sectarian and non-partisan organization respecting the rights of members, renouncing involvement in any radical movement. SMP affords equal protection of the rights of individual member and assures equal opportunities in the expression of individual opinion. This organization extends its services to the students as well as to the society, adopting a Unitary Presidential Parliamentary system in its conduct of governance and leadership.

The Sandawa-Apo Mountaineering and Ecology Club is a community of nature enthusiasts dedicated to responsible mountaineering and environmental advocacy. Guided by faith and gratitude for the wonders of nature, the club promotes eco-tourism, physical wellness through outdoor activities, and environmental awareness. It actively forges connections with like-minded organizations, supports civic and social initiatives—especially those aiding marginalized cultural communities—and responds to environmental emergencies. Through its programs and partnerships, Sandawa-Apo fosters a deeper respect for nature and a commitment to ecological preservation

This organization is called Society of Electronics Engineering Students also known as “SECES.” This organization functions as the official student organization of the Electronic Engineering program of the College of Engineering Education, University of Mindanao. Its primary objective is to develop intelligent and responsible Electronics Engineering graduate who will contribute to nation-building and foster global connections.

College of Engineering Education

The Mechanical Engineering students under the Mechanical Engineering Program of the College of Engineering and the University employing the aid of Almighty God establish a society known as the Society of Mechanical Engineering Students (SOMES). This organization fosters unity, friendship, service, and general welfare, serves as the bridge of communication between professional mechanical engineers and MS students and school administrations, and prepares the students to unselfish, constructive, responsive, and devoted service to nation building.

College of Hospitality Education

The Table Masters Club from the College of Hospitality Education is an organization that focuses on educating and training the students in the different skills related in the field of food and beverage services. Table Masters Club aims to unify students and nurture them to become professionals in the future by assisting and supporting the students in expanding their knowledge and developing skills related to the Food and Beverage Industry, working to promote national and academic awareness.

The Theater for Entertainment and Arts, also known as, ThEA, aims to carry out projects and activities that will highlight students’ talents, especially in performing such as singing, dancing, and acting simultaneously; unlock students’ potentials that will strengthen their abilities and skills in the field of theater arts; and empower students’ skills in singing, dancing, acting, thereby promoting teamwork.

College of Engineering Education

The name of the organization shall be ASSOCIATION OF CIVIL ENGINEERING STUDENTS in consortium with the JUNIO PHILIPPINE INSTITUTE OF CIVIL ENGINEERS (ACES-JPICE). This organization encourages cooperation in any endeavor the engineering department may undertake including the activities sponsored by the PICE, encourages researchers in Civil Engineering and allied science, and promote closer ties and fellowship among its members.

College of Arts and Sciences Education

The University of Mindanao Biology – Community of Excellent Learners of Life Sciences known as the UM Bio-CELLS aims to create and foster a spirit of unity among Biology students. It intends to promote the principle of good governance and good citizenship, to escalates active interests in the academic, economic, social, and moral welfare of the students. UM Bio-CELLS establishes unity, friendship, good fellowship, and mutual understanding among all Biology students’ participation in any academic and nonacademic endeavors.

Civic Student Organization

The UM Debate Society promotes the University of Mindanao’s core values—Excellence, Leadership, Integrity, and Honesty—through meaningful and relevant discourse. Its mission is to develop students’ skills in academic, socio-political, and cultural debate through rigorous training and research. The society aims to enrich learning beyond the classroom, recognize student excellence, and build strong connections with the wider community and debate networks nationwide and internationally.

The UM DOST-SEI SCHOLARS’ ASSOCIATION, also known as UM AGILAS is the official socio-civic organization of DOST-SEI scholars at the University of Mindanao – Main Campus. Guided by its mission to serve both the scholar community and the broader student body, UM Agilas promotes active engagement, integrity, and meaningful contribution to society.

The UM Information Systems Audie and Control Association Students Group (UM ISG) firmly establish an organization that shall strengthen the relationship among Accounting Information System and other Accounting related students by promoting an education and awareness of its members and society at large, for the improvement and development of their capabilities related to the auditing and management of Information Technology Governance, Security, Control and Assurance.

College of Architecture and Fine Arts Education

We, the budding artists and creative minds of University of Mindanao – UMBRA Art Society, Davao City, driven by a passion for the arts and a shared love for creative expression, hereby establish our aim to create an all-encompassing community that supports and cultivates artistic talent, fosters collaboration, and advocates for artistic expression in its various manifestations. We stand up for these ideals and work for the growth of the Umbra members by founding this Umbra Art Society. We want to establish an environment where students may pursue their artistic interests, make enduring friendships, and help Umbra become a more recognized and diverse field.

The United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary - University of Mindanao Chapter projects the value and importance of the roles of the architecture students in nation building. We extend the cultural and academic knowledge of students, where they could participate, elevate experiences and commit social interaction. We integrate the duties, roles and responsibilities of an architecture student. The University of Mindanao AB English Association (UMABEA) is an academic organization that conjures the role in nation-building, imploring the aid of the Almighty God, to build a just brotherhood that shall protect our ideals and aspiration, dignity and integrity, to promote the common good, peace, love, and equality, and to develop unity among Bachelor of Arts in English Language students, and secure to ourselves the knowledge to excel.
